Yeah people, the time is nigh for festivities, tricks and most definitely treats, and grown people running around using Halloween as an excuse to act a fool.

There are few holidays that top this one, this is the one where the air feels crisp, the pumpkin pie smells good, and there is a hint of mischievousness in the air. The moon is full (sometimes) and everyone is up to no good.

It is also the time when crazy stories are spread….mass murderers on the loose, crazy people who lace candy with poison and razors in apples. And of course there is always the good ole horror stories and ghost tales that people spread around….its all hockeypuck! But it is also all in good fun I suppose.

I know exactly what I am going to be this year: A Corporate Psycho. I’ve been reading this book by Paul Babiak, PH.D and Robert D. Hare, Ph.D. called: Snakes In Suits: When Psychopaths go to work. It is phenomenal. Seriously, it breaks down the psychopathic personality disorder and basically lets you know who in your company is really up to no good, and will do anything, and I mean anything, to achieve what they need and want to achieve. Its chilling, and has you thinking: is he/she just charismatic? Or a psychopath? Who will be the judge?

This book definitely inspired my desire to be a Corporate Psycho….let the trickery begin!

Happy Halloween, and those of you who have jobs enjoy the weekend! Those of you who are without, make the most of these pumpkin times, and dress and prepare your battle scars for next week! Let loose a little….
